Literature Text
You were always so shy. Everytime someone talked you, you were a stuttering and embarrassed mess. People often mistakened you as the cold, distant girl who never wanted to be bothered, which resulted in you never really having many friends. You've tried to talk to people, but you never had the confidence to actually walk up to them.
Three years you have trained hard to become a good soldier. You tried to stay optimistic, even if it was lonely and no one was there to help lift your spirits. You had often found yourself eavesdropping on other people's conversations, knowing more about others than they will ever know about you.
You've always wondered what it was that always made you nervous around others, but soon came to a conclusion. You figured out you always felt intimidated, like they were always judging you for everything you do. Even existing.
But recently, everyone has found out about your crush. No one knew who it was, except you, of course. Most people kept asking you who it was, resulting in a completely red face. Others either teased you or left you alone, curiously staring at you. You could honestly say that it isn't even a crush anymore. No, it wasn't that simple. You've fallen in love with the boy. How ridiculous.
And here you were, eating dinner alone...again. Your plate had been wiped clean by a certain brunette who begged you for your food. And you didn't have the heart to just say no. You were so lost in thought, that you almost didn't notice something brush past your hair. You turned around to see if someone, or something, was there. You saw Jean walking past you.
Jean Kirschtein. You had listened to a lot of his conversations before. They were...interesting. You didn't really like him at first, but you somehow fell in lo --- oh, excuse me, you developed a little crush.
You noticed his arm move a little, as if his hand had been what brushed across your hair. He couldn't have done it on purpose, though. You felt a blush form on your cheeks. Thinking for a couple of minutes, you decided to leave dinner early and go for a walk.
You felt as if someone had followed you, but obviously no one would ever want to do that. Even though you checked behind you every now and then, you didn't really believe anyone was there.
Sometimes you would leave dinner early and go to a special spot only you knew about. It had a nice view of the sky. Looking up at the stars always calmed you, as if they were your only friends. After a while, you made it to your special spot in only a couple of minutes, since you learned a shortcut after going there for a couple of years now. You sat down in a comfortable spot and looked up at the sky.
After a few minutes, you heard light footsteps behind. You quickly looked behind you and saw Jean. You blushed and looked away, him sitting next to you. You two just sat there in awkward silence for what felt like hours.
"(Y/N)." Taking a second to process that he had said your name, you turned your head to face him, only to be greeted by a pair of lips pressed against yours. Wait, what? Was Jean kissing you? That's not right. Yet...it's happening. You relaxed and kissed back. Pulling apart, you notice a smile and light layer of blush on Jean's face. You decided to take the moment to confess.
"I-I love you...Jean." It was more of a mumble and barely audible, but Jean heard it loud and clear.
"I love you, too."

It's just Hair: Jean Kirschtein x Reader
The mirror was smudged with some type of cream; even so you could see your reflection just fine. You hated the girl looking back at you. She wasn’t you at all she just had your face. Starting to pull back your hair, you stop half way and stare at the long [h/c] hair that fell around you.
Frowning you drop your hair, you want to cut it but what would HE say? He always tells you your hair is beautiful. Long hair just didn’t suite you, plus it was more of a hassle then it was worth. Flipping the [h/c] locks over your shoulder so it all lay down your back you turn around making your way out of the small bath room.

Teasing (Jean X Reader)
Today was going to be different. Jean always teased you anytime and anywhere possible, almost to the point where you felt like you'd explode. It was about time you did a bit of teasing of your own. You smirked to yourself at the thought, and grabbed a loaf of bread. You saw your friends sitting at their usual table, an empty seat beside Jean which was always left for you ever since your relationship was known among them. You smiled casually as you set your tray down beside Jean, but instead of sitting down in your usual spot, you dat directly on his lap.
"Woah, what's gotten into you? You usually don't like showing affection in public." Jean

(Jean x Reader) You, Again
"Mikasa is looking so beautiful today... Minus the fact that she's with Jaeger," Jean complained loudly, slumped down in his seat beside you in the cafeteria.
"You act so high and mighty acting like you have the balls to approach her when you choked that one time last month," you murmured, slapping him hardly on the back. "You have no right to be jealous of Jaeger, stupid horse."
"!! That's so cruel, (F/N)!" Jean exclaimed, shooting up in his seat. "And if you were more like Mikasa and less of a push over, you'd be my ideal girl," he sighed.
You hit Jean over the head with your fist and yelled, "Like I'd want to be a horse's ideal girl!"
